It's been years since I read it. Can't remember much more than that. I would also be interested in stuff where Mal has taken Arthur under her wing, but he isn't her actual brother. Perhaps they knew each other before she met Cobb (think I might have read one like that too). 

I remember Ariadne and Saito helping Arthur to find Eames after he was taken under and killed over and over again in a dream. Eames wakes up traumatized and terrified of pretty much everything. He resents feeling weak and calls himself pathetic ( Read more... )

Eames knocks on Arthurs's door. Eames is in a program for his drug (I'm sure it's drugs and not alcohol) addiction. He apologises for hurting Arthur. I think Cobb is in the story too.

If anyone knows which story I'm talking about, I'd be most grateful.

The Fic is Arthur/Eames and I believe it is a series. Arthur and Eames get together, but then Dom says something that makes Arthur doubt Eames. Arthur takes a topside/RL security job and ends up getting shot. Later, Dom comes to visit them and Eames punches him in the nose for interfering.
